Platform & requirements
Roadworthy requires iOS 16 or later and is built natively for iPhone. Universal purchase will cover all of a user's devices signed into the same Apple ID.

Skyward Systems is an independent app studio based in Colorado. No investors, no growth targets to hit — just a small team building tools we'd want to use ourselves, and standing behind them after they ship.
Why we build this way
Most apps try to do everything and end up doing nothing particularly well. We'd rather ship something small that handles one job completely — fuel and maintenance tracking, in Roadworthy's case — than bolt on features that dilute what it's actually good at.
Roadworthy started from a plain frustration: spreadsheets and disconnected apps made it hard to know what a vehicle actually cost to own. We built the tool we wanted for ourselves first, then made it ready for everyone else.
How we operate
Colorado-based
Skyward Systems is based in Colorado. Small enough that decisions get made by the people who actually build and support the apps.
Privacy by default
No accounts required for core features, no ad tracking, and sync runs through your own iCloud rather than our servers.
Support that reaches a person
A message sent through the Support page goes to the people who wrote the code, not a ticket queue.
What's next
Roadworthy is the first app under the Skyward Systems name, with more focused, single-purpose utilities planned. Each new app gets its own page here once it's ready to ship.

Frequently asked
Open the app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases, and sign in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase. Restores are instant and don't create a duplicate charge.
If iCloud sync is turned on in the app's settings, your data restores automatically on any device signed into the same iCloud account. Without sync enabled, data stays local to that device only.
In-app data can be cleared from Settings → Reset. If you've enabled sync, deleting it there also removes it from iCloud. See the Privacy page for full details on what's stored.
Note the app name, iOS version, iPhone model, and what you were doing right before it happened. Include a screenshot if you have one — it's the single most useful thing for tracking down a bug.
All purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple directly: reportaproblem.apple.com. We're glad to help troubleshoot first if something isn't working as expected.

Most messages get a reply within 24 hours on weekdays. This is a small team — thanks for your patience on weekends and holidays.

What we collect
Skyward Systems apps are built to need as little from you as possible. By default, the content you create — tasks, lists, habit entries — stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. We do not require an account to use core app features.
Optional iCloud sync
If you turn on sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's standard encrypted storage. We do not have access to synced content — it moves directly between your devices and Apple's servers.
Diagnostics
- Crash reports, sent only with your permission through iOS's standard reporting prompt.
- Basic, anonymized usage counts (such as feature usage frequency) used to prioritize what to build next. This data cannot be tied back to an individual person.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your data to advertisers or data brokers.
- Track you across other apps or websites.
- Access the content of your lists, tasks, or notes.
Support requests
When you contact support, we receive whatever you include in your message — typically your name, email address, and a description of the issue. We use this only to help resolve your request and keep it only as long as needed to do so.
Your choices
You can disable sync, clear in-app data, or delete an app entirely at any time from your device. Doing so removes the associated data from our systems (for anything synced) within a standard iCloud propagation window.
